I really like this race. The course is nice and flat. If the crowd wasn't so big, it might actually be a decent on to try and PR in.
Terry and I rode together up to the race and once it started, that was it. It was just too packed to try and stay together. It rained the whole morning and even poured while we were driving into Greenville but then once we parked, the running gods were smiling on it and the rain held off until we had finished and were walking back to the car.

"Keep running. If you feel like crap, run faster. You won't feel any better but at least you'll be done sooner."

So happy to see that you are in full blogger mode again! Yay, Mar! Looks like there are lots of exciting things going on in your life right now... and actually, you and I are following very similar schedules. I'm back in school too... and in marathon training mode. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. I think 2012 is going to be a good year! :-)
